A SUMMARY OF THE STORY WITHIN

In an unnamed, but long ago time, the sleepy seaport village of Destiny Faire has withstood a three-year drought. In spite of the economic hardships, the townspeople have remained harmonious in their daily relationships. Harmonious, that is, until they are visited by the curator of all evil, the Captain of the Spirit Ship. With the help of his sidekick, Basil, the Captain seeks out disgruntled, disenfranchised souls and, by instructing them in the ways of the spirits Greed, Narcissism, and Hate, turns them into the world's most powerful and destructive conquerors and zealots. These spirits reside beneath the deck of the Captain's ancient sailing ship where, one by one, they expound on the advantages of each individual trait. The Captain then provides instruction on how to wield the newfound power each spirit offers, and watches as his new disciple rises to power and wrecks havoc upon the land.
